For people who screenshot first and figure it out later.
Screenshot in.
Action out.
Press ⌘⇧O to screenshot anything — a meeting invite, a Slack thread, a recipe a friend texted you. Outshot reads the image, extracts the action, and routes it to Apple Calendar, Reminders, Notion, Todoist, or Linear. You just confirm.
Under three seconds. No copy-paste.
how it works
01
⌘⇧OScreenshot
Capture a meeting invite, a Slack thread, an error — anything on screen.
02
Outshot reads it
OCR runs on-device. The extracted text is sent to AI, which identifies the action and destination in under 2 seconds.
03
↵Confirm
Review the parsed preview. One keystroke to send — nothing reaches your destination without your say-so.
Screenshot images stay local by default.
OCR runs on-device via Apple Vision. Only extracted text and your typed intent are sent to the parser. The image itself is uploaded only when a destination needs an attachment, such as a Notion image block, and only after you confirm.

faq
Do my screenshots leave my Mac?
Screenshot images stay on your Mac unless you explicitly confirm a route that needs an attachment, such as a Notion image block. OCR runs on-device using Apple Vision. Only extracted text and your typed intent are sent to the parser provider for routing.
What if the parser gets it wrong?
Outshot always shows you a preview before sending. You can edit any field directly, or press Esc to cancel. Nothing reaches your destination until you confirm.
Which AI model does it use?
The production parser can be configured with OpenAI or Anthropic. Only OCR-extracted text and your typed intent are sent — no screenshot images. Outshot should be configured with API settings where submitted content is not used to train models.
What Mac do I need?
macOS 14 or later. Apple Silicon or Intel. Direct DMG download — no Mac App Store required.
Does it work without an internet connection?
OCR is fully offline. Intent parsing needs a network connection — if you're offline, Outshot will tell you and let you retry once you reconnect.
One license for multiple Macs?
Yes. Pro covers up to 3 Macs on the same Apple ID.
Refund policy?
30-day money-back if Pro doesn't earn its keep. Reply to the receipt email — no questions asked.
When does it ship?
Pre-launch now. Waitlist gets early access before we open to the public.
